I smell amonia and no one else does?

I smell ammonia. No one else can smell it. This happens off and on and in many different locations. I have read that this happens to people after a weight training session but I don't work out. It has happened when I was just sitting reading a book. I have seen my GP secondary to ill feeling for a year. The only abnormal labs are slightly elevated sed rate and  slightly elevated WBC. I have muscle pain and weakness and extreme fatigue. My Doctor says he has no idea what is wrong with me. I am so frustrated. Any idea what would be causing me to smell ammonia? Is it connected to my weaking state of health? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Barb

My sister died last april, she had a heartache but the more i read about her blood tests and doctor files, she may have but their are some concerns of mine so Ive been reading, She had gastric bypass surgery in 1979 it failed, again in 1984. She had no iron she had to take meds for iron, and it was always so low. From what ive been reading it concerns your liver, due to toxins, she developed low blood sugar causing seziures, go to iron binding capacity and read what ive been reading. Might be worth your while.  Suzanne
