IBD

I was told i had IBD about a year ago. I noticed that every time I drink, my right side and my right lower back throbs very very bad. Is drinking a bad idea when you have this? I dont drink often, maybe twice a month. It doesnt only hurt when i drink it hurts most all the time but worse when i drink. Could the pain be my colon?

I havent had a confirmed diagnosis of chron's, but i was told at on point they thought i had it. I take percocet for the pain( only about three times a week) Dycyclomine for the cramps in my stomach, and an anti-depressent which the doc said was to keep my stress down so my stomach could heel.

When you have IBD and it is in flare up mode you would normally be eating a low residue diet and unfortunately alcohol does not fit and can antagonize.  What meds are you on?  Do you have Crohn's or Colitis?
