It all began with H.pilory when I was only 15!!! Please HELP!

When I was 15 I went to my yearly check up, got blood test and everything, I was diagnosed with H.pylori. After that I was given a 14 day treatment to prevent* and ulcer. After I was done with it I felt much better for a few 5-6 months. Around the beggining of the upcoming year I started experiencing extra gas and belching. No pain just the need to belch continuously. And that was me for atleast 2months. I didn't pay much attention to it since it was just gas. Around the thrid month I went through a 3 day episode of continuingly pain in the end of my esopaghus and the mouth of my stomach, to be more specific where the esophagus meets the stomach. It was horrifying painful It felt like continuously cramps if that's how i can explain it. After a good hour of agonizing I would finally belch and that would relieve the pain for a few minutes but this was on going and as the hours passed the cramps were less. It would last longer until I had another one. When I was going through this I would throw myself on the floor and just squirm and bend in all possible angles to make it not hurt as much as it was hurting. I had difficulting breathing and I think that caused more anxiety which made it worse, I also had trouble sleeping and eating. The pain and continuously cramps would no go away. After the first day the second and third day the continuously cramps slowly began to dissappear and by the time I got to the doctor It just vanished! He ofcourse never found anything and I was just baffled. Then atleast 1 year 1/2 passed until i got the second episode it was the same thing all over this time I went to the doctor ASAP he didn't really diagnosed me or anything he said It was probably trapped gas that couldn't come out and that was the reason of the pain. Yes I  already knew that but he based his diagnosed and precription on my h.pilory record and he said that sometimes after having that bacteria I would have or be left with croninc gas problems an such bloah blah blah I still never knew what was causing this so he prescribed Prevacid. So i was on prevacid for a good 2 years. After that I stopped taking it and once again the gas episodes repeated itself. It came down to aslong as I took the prevacid I would not ge this gas episodes. After a full year of returning to the prevacid I became frustrated I didn't get the gas episodes but now I had continuously gas and belching that for some days I would wake up with mild pain at the mouth of my stomach. Other days I would just have a sour stomach, or heartburn. I mean that's when my stomach problems overall began. It didn't matter If i was on medication it wasn't relieving anything, but instead I think it was making it worse. Frustrated I went back and demanded something else such an endeoscopy or ultrasound. I was scheduled the endoescopy and when I went for the evaluation the doctor didn't recommend it becaus eit was risky and i had to go under general anesthesia and that based on my history he didn't think it was necessary. So I didn't get it done. Anyways I quit prevacid because I felt that instead of helping it it was just damaging my already sensitive system more. I am now 19 years old and i i've been managing to live with continuously gas and belching some days it's really bad and others i barely get gas its weird. But now the issue is beyond the gastricproblems. I feel weak all the time. Im always getting sick from different things. I have a hard time breathing sometimes*. I get tired fast. Sometimes I wake up with a mild pain at the mouth of my stomach and its gas. I was recetly diagnosed with croninc sinus. Its horrible I feel  like im clsing the end of my days! Im only 19 years old. I can't go to sleep late because when I wake up the next day I feel horrible super weak I can barely wake up and breath. I am going back to gastroentorologist in hopes he finds a cure for my gastric problems. Anyways any suggestions or help will be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

I hear you girl, I have the same pains you are describing and I have it since I was your age, I am now 35 and they still don't know what it is.  They found the H-pylori couple years ago and treated me twice or three times for this bacteria, but the pain still comes back.  It happens once in three months but it's not managable and there is nothing you can do.  I also roll all over trying to find a position that will ease the pain a little, but can't find one and it hurts for couple hours.  I went trough a lot of test, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Ultrasounds, Small intestine testing - AND Nothing!  My doctor diagnosed me with IBS - which is more B...S....  I honestly think that it's stress related to the stomach becuse I usually get the pain after I get very stressed, not when I eat something, so I know it's not food.  I am thinking of going to the doctor when the pain is happening becasue my stomach looks like I am 9 months pregnant-it's so bloated.  I hope that you will find some cure to your pain.

My 11 year old grandson was diagnosed with the H-pilory about 4 months ago.  He had bad stomach pain, diarhea, and vomiting.. at first the doctor thought it was a stomach virus that was going around... a month later he was sick again, Just like you, it would come and go.. the doctor finally gave a bloodtest and it was h-plory.  two weeks on antibiotics and prilosec.  He lost 10 pounds in 2 months.   He is still taking the prilosec.  But the doctor cannot bloodtest again for the pliory until this June .  He said it would show up for sure if he tested now.  My grandson seems to be doing ok.  But had a spell a few weeks ago.   I am very worried about this.  They say that it is hard to get rid of and that it is contagious.  AND there is not much known about the H-pilory bacteria.  Doctor said that it is something that has just started showing up in people more than ever.. They don't really know what to do.   If I were you , I believe I would go to another doctor.  Get another bloodtest.  I hope things get better for you.  I know the pain is bad.  My grandson was in misery at times.  At this point, I doesn't seem to be having gas problems.. but, I too am worried about him taking the prilosac everyday.  He also takes Strattera for ADD.......  I worry so much about these drugs..  if you find out anything about your H-Pilory let me know.  Thanks.  Good luck to you.

It could be a nervous stomach. STRESS can make a lot of things happen. I would try another DR. most want to check things out even if you are young.
