Need help please-unable to find answers.

I recently had my GB removed.  Never had problems up until a month ago, pathologist states I had
cholesterosis.  Not sure if there were polyps.
I also had Acute pancreatitis twice in month, and the doctors felt that the sludge in GB may have caused the pancreatitis.

Can having Cholesterosis cause AP?

Everything seems normal. The report does state:
Of note is a slight anomaly to the take off of the pancreatic duct
which appears slightly higher than normal.

In english, what does this mean?

also, the surgeon's report states

The gallbladder had some inflammatory adhesions which which were taken down.
The cystic duct was quite short and photographed. It was dissected out and
clipped very high up on the gallbladder.

I see Surgeon for follow up on Thurs.

But could there be a problem with having that short cystic duct?  Could having that slight anomaly on pancreatic duct have contributed to AP?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you! :-)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since your gall bladder is out, hence in post cholecystectomy patients, we always make a point to look out for pancreatic cause when a patient reports with pain on left or right side under rib pain. Pancreatitis should always be ruled out in such cases. Pancreatitis is one of the causes of cholecystitis. You should consult your gastroenterologist and get pancreatitis evaluated and investigated in detail.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
