On goining Stomach problems

5 months ago I started having bloating, heaviness in stomach, nausea and Gas. Since then I am taking Acid suppressants such as Nexium and Aciphex as prescribed by my doctor. I also underwent Endoscopy and Biopsy, Abdominal Ultrasound, X-Ray and Blood test . All the tests came normal except they found H-Pilory infection and I took antibiotics and subsequent Stool test for H-Pilory showed negative. I am still having all the above discomforts which is going on for 5 months. I normally eat very healthy and  I am following a strict diet since this problem started. My Gastorentologist asked me to continue to take Aciphex. I am not comfortable taking these medications for such a long time and when I stop taking the medication I am getting buring in my stomach which I never had before. Is the any cure for my condition?

As far as the burning when you stop taking the Aciphex (i was on that for awile too, but it never helped me) if you can stand to, try going off of it for awhile and stick to a alkaline diet.  Your body might just be relying on it.  Make sure to check with your doctor that it is safe for you to discuntinue use of the Aciphex before you go off of it though.  I might also consider getting tested for the H-Polory again because I think its not uncommim for it to show a false-negative, and it can also come back again.  Just a thought if your still feeling bad.  Also Benadryl works great for nausea, ya have to give it about an hour to kick in though.
