David, is there is any tie-in between your having pancreatitis and any gallbladder malfunctioning? If there is, and if the gallbladder issue isn't cleared up, the pancreatitis could reoccur. Also, make sure the pancreatitis is not due to an autoimmune issue. If it is, it needs to be treated 'differently.'

Very good recovery given that you avoid any alcohol intake, that includes mouthwash and nyquil. Also a low fat high carb diet is the best for this disease.

Were you diagnosed with acute or chronic pancreatitis? What was said to be the cause? Did they make pancreatic function tests? Have you other diseases?
