I see, well the pain I'm feeling now went away with my tonsillitis. It lasted about 4-5 days. It's quite baffling that they both came in and out exactly the time. I wish you well in your colonoscopy. Thanks again and best of health to all of us!
No, my doctor did not give a diagnosis. I go every 6 mos. to an oncologist because I had colon cancer surgery 4 yrs. ago. When I told him about the abdominal pain, he said that it would be a good idea to have a colonoscopy. I can't tolerate a regular one, so I'm having a virtual colonoscopy Sept. 18th. This is a routine procedure that I should have had regularly since my surgery, but I haven't. Let's hope no polyps are found which would require a regular colonoscopy in a hospital under heavy anesthetic. Ugh! I'm glad you are feeling better. I feel fine, too, just a little worried about Sept. 18th. Best regards to you.
Thank you for the response. Mine is actually not hurting at the moment anymore, and coincidentally my tonsillitis' pain also subsided. Did your doctor gave a diagnosis?
I also have had a pain such as you describe in my right lower abdomen. I had this happen the first time only 2 mos. after a CAT scan, so I wasn't worried. It has happened again a few weeks ago and lasted for about 5 days. I noticed it was more often if I ate spicy food or if I was stressed. I began taking acidopholus, 2 Tablespoons, at night and after each meal. The pain went away after a day and when it returned briefly in a few days, I took the same treatment right away and this time it lasted only a day. You can buy acidopholus at healthfood stores. Buy the liquid, found in the refrigerator case. There are a few flavors to choose from and all taste good. It cost me about $14.00 and lasted for weeks. I hope this helps you. God bless.
