Dr. wants to refer to for g/b surgery, but normal tests?

My u/s was normal, HIDA had 95% EF (not sure if that's normal?) and GI said if endoscope test is normal, he will refer me to the surgeon for gallbladder removal. I'm confused now. I would like something more definitive. Has anyone has normal tests but still had it removed. How can anyone be sure the gallbladder is the problem?

Btw: RUQ pain and nausea (lots of burping goes along with nausea) are about the only symptoms. The right side pain is a daily thing, severity changes though. Squeezing and sharp pains at times that radiate to the back. I'm 32/female/160 lbs.

My cck was administered through an iv type bag and it drips for 30 minutes and then the test automatically shuts off. They told me in no one gets sick from it since it's injected so slowly instead of only a couple minutes. I had no reaction.

Sounds like GB but w/o HIDA showing it I'd be wondering, too?  Is it intermittent thing that wasn't caught on the HIDA maybe?  Did you have pain when they injected the hormone during the test?
