Spasms in lower diaphram area

For several months now I have been experiencing tightening that feels like spasms on the left side right under my diaphram area that tighten and move across to the other side. I end up bent over with a tight, tight feeling that makes me so uncomfortable to lay down flat on my back. I can feel the knotting or spasms. I had a colonoscopy recently and everything was clear. I had this episode while waiting for the colonoscopy to be performed. It is happening more and more. At first these episodes came after stress so I thought they were anxiety or panic related but now I am wondering if it's a medical condition. It's always on my left side. Can anyone tell me what might help it or what is might be. I am on an anti-anxiety med for another condition and it doesn't touch this. I tried a muscle relaxant and by the time I take it, I am into this so much, nothiing makes me feel better or relax with it. I had a 3 day stay in the hospital in Sept with the first serious one. The doctors ran tests on everything and came up with nothing but a big hospital charge. I need help.

left sided pain like that, with the tight "band" like feeling around your diaphram area could be you gallbladder or worse your pancreas
are you a heavy drinker?....id like to hear more about your symptoms and issues to better understand.
could also be something though like GERD,,with reoccuring esophageal spasms,,there realy uncomfortable and could cause the same kinda speratic pain
