Diahrrea question.

I have been pretty healthy over the years, but rescently have been having some stomach problems. For the past month or so, it seems that every time I eat or drink something, it gives me diarrhea within about 10 -15 minutes.  What could this be? I kind of asked this question over in the HIV forum, because of a slight chance of hiv exposure (tests so far have been neg), but I saw this forum, and thought I'd ask. It's really bad at the moment, and would like to be able to consume something without taking a trip to the restroom. Thanks for your help!

I had this a few years back actually lost some weight which i didn't mind it was just the way that i was losing the weight but everything I ate came out very quickly leaving my body looking about the same way it did going in because it was moving through my system so fast. Had a colonoscopy turned out I had H-Pylori and mild gastritis took the antibiotic pack and things are much better good luck

We don't know, you need to see a Gastroenterologist for an evaluation, it may be something as simple as IBS.  Until you see the GI make sure you are staying well hydrated with water and Gatorade to replenish your loss of electrolytes.  Good luck and take care.

Let me also say that withing about 5 minutes of eating, I get a really loud, and physical growling/gurgling sound that starts just below my left rib cage, and goes down into the crease  of the groing, and leg. And yes, there is plenty of gas. been taking gas ex with every meal, and it does not help.
