the pain has gone into my back, going for endescopy tomorrow to find out exactly whats going on.
hii m8 sorry to hear about your situation, i have just recovered from the same problem so if i may i would just like to give you some advice ,first as mentioned you defo need to get tested for h.pylori as i did and hopefully get rid of it using two antibiotics, seconldy i am guessin you will be on some sort of p.p.i , like lansaprazole, just take that every morning, drink plenty of water, eat smaller foods and introduce probiotic drinks into you diet
get well soon mate
It may be that the medication has not had time to work. Call your doctor and ask if you should be feeling better. I personally would find a Gastroenterologist as this is their specialty and there will beable to get to the bottom of this for you. Take care...
thanks, i forgot to add i am on some medication but i still feel awful.
This really sounds like the symptoms I had when I was diagnosed with H-pylori. Also, if it is confirmed that you have an ulcer, you definitely need to get tested for H-pylori. It has been suggested by research that H-pylori could be causing ulcers. A test for H-pylori is fairly simple. I did a breath test and let me tell you its so much better than any other GI test out there, no nasty barium or uncomfortable colonoscopies or EGDs. So ask you dr about that. I too kept losing weight along with the chronic nausea and severe abdominal pain. I hope you feel better soon, I know its rought, but it will get better!
