I am a 50 year old woman. I had my gallbladder out several years ago. At that time I had pain between my shoulder blades and my right side. I also had stomach pain and vomiting.
A couple of months ago I started feeling sick every time I ate. I could eat only a little, and I would feel full and bloated. I have had a loss of appetite, because food makes feel sick.
Plain food, any food.
I have continued to get worse. Now I am having stabbing pain in my stomach that goes through to my back. I am also getting pain between my shoulder blades. I have pain in my right side too. Sometimes the pain goes all the way around my upper abdomen.
I am also having heart palpitations.
I feel bloated all the time.
I feel weak, and "sick".
I am taking acid reducers. I was taking Advil for knee pain. I have stopped taking that.
I am living on 2% milk, because I feel like it makes my stomach feel a little better. And I have been only eating jars of turkey baby food to try and get some nutrition in me.
The little I eat, I haven't lost any weight.
Sometimes I think I feel a bit better, then I feel worse. I always feel bloated. My stomach hurts all the time.
I had to leave my last doctor a few years ago because of my insurance, and I never got another one.
My daughter wants me to go to the hospital, which is a hard thing for me to do. I am afraid if I go they will just dismiss it as a stomach bug.
I know something is going on. What could this be?
