What is wrong with me?

I am a 22 year old, 160lb active male with an meticulous diet (high fiber, whole wheats, minimal sugar/fat). Shortly after returning to the US from study abroad in South Korea I began to have strange bowel movements. At first I thought it was just jet lag, over the past two weeks it has developed into lose stoll with constant blood. Upon seeing my doctor I was perscribed Cipro, 500mg/2x daily, while my bloodwork and stool sample were being processed. The Cipro seemed to make me bleed even more. My bloodwork is perfect and my stool sampled showed no evidence of parasites. I'm getting parinoid about what is happening to me.

You are young and therefore most unlikely to suffer from the more sinister causes of GI bleeding.  But rectal bleeding is never normal and should be investigated.  Unless your doctor can assure you that the causes are more minor (eg hameorrhoids etc) I suggest that you ask for the most comprehensive test - namely a colonoscopy.

Good luck

I should also add that during these past 3 weeks when I eat I seem to get quite full off of a small portion, and have mild lower abdominal discomfort after eating. Eating almost always triggers a bowel movement.
