What is wrong with my son???!

My son is 6 years old. When he was 3 he used to have spells where he would get cramps and have diarrhea. He would always grab his lower tummy and say " I have to go spit my pain out" ( meaning diarrhea ). I didn't take to much into it because...I guess it didn't hurt him that much.  NOW it's back full force. For the last 3 months he has had several spells. Lost 3 weeks of school in total. I have had him in and out of emerg because of the sever pain, and diarrhea. I've even gotton remarks from people that say he doesn't look good is he feeling well?

  They told us lactose, we did all that, didn't work. now they tell me everytime that it's the flu.....I'm no doctor but I'm not stupid either.

I know my son and something is wrong but I can't get help from a doctor ( who doesn't think it's the flu for all these years) he is in such pain, sleepless nights, missing school. what can we do.

also when he was 5 in feb 08 he could not pee and was in alot of pain, they checked his urine after they could get a sample and it was fine. just last night ( almost 1 year later ) same thing but without the pain, he went to the bathroom 7 times in 20 mins. he said he had to pee but couldnt. he finally peed this morning.  I hope someone can help him, I can't stand to see him go through much more.....thank you for your time.

I had him to my family doctor and she is thinking maybe celiac disease??? He is haveing some test done blood work, ultra sound and he is also being referred to the GI clinic. I feel better now that something is at least being looked into. Now is just to wait to get into the GI clinic.

He needs to go to a gastro or maybe a urologist, before you go make a chart of what he eats and when this occurs. That will help a lot, I have stomach pains but I have serve gastritis and a hiatal hernia it maybe just a flare up as gastritis. If you don't like one gastro decision take him to another.
