abdominal pain

i get sever abdominal pain on my left side right below and around my ribs.... the pain gets so bad its hard to stay still, i have diabetes... what could this be? and what could be causing it?

i ahve heard that pain linked to diabetes,,,dont ask me why,but when i was havin g same type of pain you describe,they even checked me for diabetes as well!!
id read up on this condition.

Have you had any test done or seen a GI specialist?  Is is brought on by eating or laying down? I have the same pain but mine is on upper left and right side. So I was just wandering if u have the same symtoms.

Do you feel bloated? Any relief after bowel movement or passing gas?
