ULQ PAIN

I am 26, healthy, have no major family diseases. My pain started 8 months ago.  Pain is in ULQ, moves to mid chest, around my back and up to my shoulder. Pain started minimal and lasted about 5 minutes, now the pain has escalated to a 9 out of 10 and lasts anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours.  Wakes me up from a sleep, nothing releives any pain.  It gets to the point that I cannot hold my self up because I am so drained. Have gone to ER 4 times, they say it is Heartburn.  Xrays done, nothing found.  Have gone to regular doctor, gone to Gastro, gotten a endoscipy, a stress test, all fine.  Been on Nexium, no relief.  Had a stomach ultrasound, waitng on results.  Always have felt tired and weak, blood test come back normal.  Last few days have felt dizzy and lightheaded, no particular thing brings it on, can be sitting, standing, lying down, get lightheaded.  I am at a loss and I really need to know what is wrong with me.  I do not know what I should do form this point, any suggestions.

Mystery Diagnosis = Zebra Diagnosis. I agree with the pancreatic check, and possible CT for Kidney/ bladder reflux. When I say Zebra Diagnosis, I mean the most far-fetched, least likely, I-looked-on-Web-MD-and-am-positive-I-have-brain-cancer Diagnosis. You see "Zebra" Diseases at Mayo, Mt. Sinai, Parkland, and Dr. G.

Has anyone check your pancreatic enzymes?  Seems like a good thing to check with your symptoms.

Hey I watched a Mystery Diagnosis Episode about something like what you are describing. It has to do with how the body regulates blood pressure. In the show this person would be at normal bed rest and fine,..when she stood up all hell would break loose. She would be weak and her BP would plummet. Perhaps you should ask for BP Testing on the Brain Level or testing in that area. I have SEVERE GERD and Nexium does not always relieve it. I must sometimes live on oatmeal and eat Jello.

In all this I have learned that our Medical Providers are not as good as they should be. It takes weeks to get in to see a doctor sometimes and by that time we worry and suffer ourselves into a big ball of nerves. Sometimes they just don't get it!.
As for the Nexium try taking 2 and don't fear adding a Generic Zantac 75. I get help from this often. Also a good Sublingual B-12 "at least 2500" is a helper when you are low on energy. Have your Sugar Checked too.

Hey Feel Better!!
