gallbladder problems

Not a question but a caution. Not all gallbladders have to have stones to be symptomatic. There is a condition known as Cholechodyskinsia (Chole= gall bladder and dyskinsia = dysfunction) The gall bladder neck can get kinked and cause the gall bladder to swell and produce pain. Symptoms are the same as a stone but ususally the pain comes from lying down, as in the night, and getting up and walking around ususally lets the gall bladder fall back into place and the swelling goes down. Severe attacts can even cause light colored stools just like haveing a stone caught in the neck of the gall bladder.
