gallbladder symptoms

I'm having gallbladder pain and symptoms- has anyone gained weight after the surgery? And what is it about GB removal that makes you gain weight?

Ive lost 5 pounds. This am  I weighed myself, naked, 129.4, Just now,
Im 128.6??? Im eating like a clydesdale.  I am going to the bathroom alot, loose stools. I had my gallbladder out in Dec, due to pancreatitis.   Have a colonscopy in a month, hope there's nothing else going on.

Everyone is different. BUT, the weight issue is a non issue. If you need to have the Gallbladder out, do so, otherwise, you will become very ill and end up in the hospital. Best Wishes!

My mom had her's out many years ago...she didn't gain an ounce.
She DID gain weight many years later though...after she had her hysterectomy.
