medical term for colostomy rerversal

I want to know the techinal medical term for the procedure to reverse a colostomy back to the way God inteneded.

I'm assuming you have a colostomy due to having your colon removed.  If this is the case then it is a temporary colostomy, and your surgeons would already have plans in place to re-connect you 3 months after surgery.  If you only had a section removed, the same applies.

Chip...I think you mean to join the diseased part that has been removed, and now healed...To join the two intestines is called an "anastamosis"
This is when the two sections are joined and sutured....people do very well that have this done...
Life goes on as usual...
