lower right abdominal pain (mystery)

• Note: in parallel to all of the below, I’ve been getting colonoscopys every 3 years (last of which was in mid-2015. They have always found nothing. No polyps even on my last one). Also, every GI doctor (and I've been to 3) has said that the pain is too low to be an ulcer... so that has always been ignored)
• For past 5 years or so have had intermittent dull burning pain in my lower right part of my abdomen. Like two inches from my belly button and about half an inch below my belly button. it would come and go in terms of severity. Normally a pain level of about a 2 but sometimes a pain level of about a 5 (rarely though)
• About 4 years ago I had a series of tests to diagnose it (all showed nothing. Looked at every organ. Kidneys liver gall bladder appendix testicles)
o CT Scan
o Blood work
o Sonogram
o Urinalysis
• Dealt with it (taking antacids but with nominal success. Also seemed to get worse with caffeine but that was not tried and true) until about a year ago when the pain became worse and more frequent (now always there at about a 2 or 3 and more frequently severe at about a 6 or 7)
• Went back for all the same tests (showed nothing again but one test did show a tiny kidney stone that the doc said shouldn’t be causing the pain where I’m feeling pain, and is something that a lot of people have that don’t even know they have it)
• So…
• In Dec 2015 went to surgeon to have my appendix out and for exploratory laparoscopic surgery
o Found nothing abnormal. Appendix was folded but nothing wrong with it
o Found nothing when looking around either
• Since appendix has been removed pain has gotten worse and more frequent. Now always around a 3 and when bad around a 7
o Also my abdomen is now always distended. And if I eat the slightest thing it gets bloated
o Have gained 10lbs (I weighed the exact same weight for 15 years prior to getting appendix out)
o Figured out that drinking hot water. In abundance (like 5 or 6 glasses (20oz) in a row can dull the severe pain)
o Figured out that in the morning it seems ok until I have a bowel movement. Then starts to hurt and lasts the rest of the day. gets really bad in early evening
• Went back to GI doctor…who sent me for an MRE of my small intestine. Found nothing.
• Now GI doctor wants to send me back to the surgeon to ask for potential answers
