pain mid & rt side w/ nausea

I have been having rt sided abd pain w/ nausea esp after eating. I am exhausted & can barely function. I had a throidectomy 3 mo ago & 2 weeks after that the pain & nausea started. It will clear up for a day or 2 & then its back again. Abd us showed mild increase in gallbladder polyp & mild fatty liver. I already take prilosec 2x day for reflux. I am at a complete loss at what to do.Any suggestions would be appreeciated.

Yes I am on replacement therapy. Had some problems because I was alllergic to generic. It took 2 mo to figure this out.I was scoped last year & it was very red & irritated but no barrets. Will ask Dr about HIDA scan on next visit. Definitely will work on low fat diet.  Thanks

Are you currently on replacement thyroid? Have you talked with your doc about the fatigue following the surgery? If not, please do so.

Are you following a low fat diet? It may be necessary if you're having problems with your gallbladder and the pain and nausea sound more like they're related to your gallbladder than they are to the reflux you're being treated for. Were you scoped and found to have gastritis, or did the doc diagnose you based on your symptoms? Is the doc considering doing a HIDA scan with CCK injection? If not, you may want to ask for one.
