slow transit in small and large bowel

Hello All, Im wondering if anyone can give me any advise, I had some tests done, and they have.come back positive, first of all I had to have the enema barium test, which shown pelcid floor muscle dysfunction, where my muscles was not working right, then I.had the test where I had to swallow 50 markers, then go for an Xray 3 days later, this shown all 50 markers still around my Large Bowel, after this I had a test where I had to eat mashed potato and beans, then have a breath test for.8 hours, which also shown that my small Bowel has very slow transit too. My next appointment I have to see my specialist about a resolution, but its not for 7 weeks yet, and im very worried, I also have very bad Adhesions, which I keep getting Obstructed with, ive been.on every medication possible without success, including the picolax sachets, 3 times a wk along with everything else, im also now on morphine.for pain control, and drinking 40 sips as food intake. If anyone can give me any information I would be most grateful, thanks.

I would recommend talking to your doctor about pelvic floor dysfunction biofeedback.

No my morphine was stopped prior to my tests. I have been asked to have a Balloon test (whatever that is) The Adhesions are from previous operations,
Gangerine Peritinitis= Age 2.
2x Laparotomy= Bowel Obstruction, ive been in and out a lot over the past few years, with Small Bowel Obstructions. Hope this helps.

Were you on the morphine when you had the testing done?  Have you been referred to get pelvic floor dysfunction biofeedback?  What are the adhesions from?
