what causes constant gas

I have constant Gas. I have eliminated things from my diet but nothing seems to help. I have no insurance and want to know the best way to go forward

It would be helpful to list the foods you've tried eliminating and also next to each food, let us know how long you stayed away from it.   In my experience, gluten (found in wheat, barley, rye and possibly oats) is the #1 gas producer.  You have to be off of it 100% - not even a little cheat.  Every time you cheat, it takes almost a week to get out of your system.  For others it might be all milk products - not just lactose but all milk products - some people have trouble with the casein in milk (which is a protein).  Some people have trouble with both and need to eliminate both at the same time.  For others, carbohydrates in general cause problems.  Hopefully, someone on here will be able to help you.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Can you please list all of the foods you have tried eliminating.  Also, have you tried a probiotic?
