Dear Bir,
Oh, I understand. Fresh baked bread using whole wheat or oat flour will do the same thing as the bread and cereal I mentioned. The idea is to get enough "fiber" in whole grains, as well as some fruit. The Acidophilus I noted has "good bacteria" cultures in it, which helps break down waste, but onions and garlic can also help bacteria develop better, with a stew of carrots and potatoes further relieving constipation. The gas can be eased by peppermint leaves. I hope you can grow a garden where you live, even in pots, as fresh salad is really good for digestion. Also, a few sips of coffee can make the bowels move better.

Dear ggreg
I am so grateful to you for the interest you have taken in me. May God bless you!
I have printed your letter and shall keep it as a guide for my activities during the day
I do a few isometric exercises which are keeping me fit These exercises relate to just what you have prescribed.
I am in a very poor country and no delicasies are available in miles from where I live. My children and wife are American citizens and are there. I am living single, with a few servants, who are looking after me better than my children could ever do, in USA. I like this sort of a free life, even though I do not have the comforts of a developed country.
Thank you once again for the interest you have taken in me

Dear Bir,
I can tell you what I do to keep regular. I'm in my late 50s and I am also a vegetarian, but I do consume milk and egg products. But first, even though eating less is helping you, it is also important to get enough to eat, which helps bulk up the stool and makes it easier to pass. Also, your tummy bloating is from gas, which alka seltzer will relieve that. Be sure "more liquids" is not too much juice, but rather plain water.
The stuff I eat every day are Cheerios with Acidophilus milk (or you can drink soy or rice milk), and a very small glass of juice, plus I eat 100 percent whole wheat bread, and I eat salads. Spagetti is good for its water content and getting that "full' feeling. Also, while you cannot walk, you can do some simple stretching in the house, just make up your own routine to carefully pull the muscles in your arms, your legs, ankles, a little shoulder rotation, and I always rub my sides up and down a few times which helps circulation, and I rub my feet. Hope this helps.

hi again, God bless you for your perseverance, yes there are simple pain free diets on sherry brescia website, its free, keep me posted.
I had an endoscopy done 4years back. The doc told me I had a hiatus Hernia. He prescribed some medicines. On a second visit, he told me it was all clear
As for cancer, the treatment could be worse than the disease.
I have found an easier way- to eat less and drink more liquids. Also, I take---husk before retiring. I am feeling better and clearer.
Thanks for your advice. At my age, I want some very simple teatment. Kindly comment on what I am doing-- Any foods, liquids etc which are commonly available?.
With regards
Bir388.
