about 2.5 years ago i had to go to ER with ab the same symptoms. they checked me and told me that i have gastritis..
and so i tryed nexium.( not working) prevacid( nothing ) and alot more..

my question is did anyone feel like this and is it really gastritis? and if yes can it make me feel so out of breath( i can't take deep -full breath) i always have to breath alot of times. or make my self yawn to get a deep breath

In addition to having more testing done, if you find you are experiencing 'high' reflux so that you're aspirating particles of acid that could be causing the breathless feeling, you may have to add a change in diet to your use of PPIs. In some people just the use of meds will not bring the problem under control. You can find suggestions for a GERD diet at gicare.com.

I can relate to what you are talking about: the bad stomach, getting sick and not being able to breath. I was in and out of the er and was told my syptoms were everything from colitis, gastritis to psychosomatic. It took an endoscopic exam to discover my stomach was up in my chest which was displacing my lungs. A constricted paraesophageal hiatal hernia. Please go back to your doctor and ask for an endoscopic exam. At least the doctor can rule out a potentially life theatening disorder.
