25 yrs old- chest pain

Hi,

I have been having an irritating pain in my chest for the past few days. i thought it was heart burn at first due to the pain being around the sternum area. but now dicscomfort in in my chest. no fever or chills. just have had a cough prior to the pain,  and now the cough is mainly in the morning when i wake coughing up sputnum white/green occasionally with blood spots. Pain comes and goes usually goes away when laying down. any cause for concern. Pneumonia keeps coming up in my research but i think im overthing reacting and could be pulled muscle of some sort.

Thanks

No, it is probably not going to be fine.

As Londres70 suggested, you need to see a physician.

Green/yellow phlegm suggests a bacterial infection, and they end up encapsulated.

I would recommend consulting your PCP/Family Physician for an assessment and an order for a chest xray ASAP.
