Anyone knows anything about what to do for swollen, itchy hands?

Hello!
I am a 21 year old male. This past summer my hands became very swollen, itchy and were covered in a zillion blisters. When I went to the doctor, he diagnosed it being dyshidrotic eczema. I got a cortisone cream that did not help. In the end, I had to take a course of prednisone to heal my hands.
Now, 2 months later, I suddenly experience once again swollen hands, they are slightly itchy. There are no blisters as of yet.
I am just wondering: Is this the same as before? Part of dyshidrotic eczema? What to do to get better? The bethaderm cream that I got from the dermatologist is not helping. How to get rid of it forever?
I hope someone can help me.

Sounds like it may be.  I'm sorry.  Go back to the dermatologist and report what is happening.  Perhaps there is a better option for you.  I'm sorry!!!  Sounds terrible
