Did Nexium give me all my medical problems?

I have been on Nexium for 4 years I just stopped taking It only because my medicaid no longer covers It. And I just started doing reserch on the Nexium because of medical issues I have came down with since I been on Nexium. I have eye problems with very blurred vision. Bone and joint pain, had MRI And It showed buldging disk in my neck a bad disk in my upper back,And my spine is full of bone spurs. I came down with all of this just since I been on the Nexium .

Oh! and speaking of diarrhea I have many attacks  where it last for days. I have to use heat packs  to help with the severe pain I get and I pass blood in my stool. I had none of this until I was put on Nexium for 4 years!!
And my tongue is discolored and dry I do believe nexium caused all my medical problems. Since I stopped the nexium my tongue does look a little better. Still dry and rough looking and discolored but looks better then it did. I called the FDA  and they are sending me out a form called med allert to fill out.

And my Doctor said he can't rule out that the nexium caused the damage to my tongue, I have no keritin  on the tongue he said the nexium could have caused it. He said if it improves even more he will say the nexium caused it. Because my tongue got this way just  4 to six months after taking nexium. Now does anyone have the answers I'm looking for did nexium do this to me?

Thank You very much for your input on the Nexium sure glad I no longer take the pill from hell. lol   But I cant laugh about my health problems the Nexium has made me a prisoner in my own home and my toilet pain meds and heat packs have become my best friends.

It has taken a lot away from me. I can't see my Grandchildren any time i want to like I use too do because I cant travel a long distance like I use to.
My grandchildren live a three hour drive from where I live.

I was healthy until Nexium took my health away. I suffer with severe  pain in my neck and back due to bad disk.  Intestinal problems Diahera and  the attacks come on sudden where I have to stay in bed with heat packs and pain pills. The Drug company that make Nexium Astra Zenica might want to live like this but I sure don't. Maybe they should take there meds and they can live a life of misery and see how they like it.

Yes.  And, ALL proton pump inhibitors (PPI's) have the same risks involved.  They cause malabsorption from long term use.  I've mentioned this to others before, but others argued against what I had to say.  Malabsorption can also carry a high risk of early onset of Osteoporosis.  In addition to the natural therapies suggested by Red_Star, taking adequate amounts of magnesium and seabuckthorn oil really does help.  First of all, most people are magnesium deficient, not so much calcium deficient.  Second, it's necessary to take magnesium if you are supplementing with oral vitamin D3 for the body to properly synthesize the vitamin D.  I actually stumbled upon this because of supplementing my vitamin D3.  I have probably been vitamin D deficient my entire life.  I has only been the last few years of my life now that I haven't caught every virus under the sun, so that gives me reason to believe this.  Most people are moderately to severely vitamin D deficient.  Most also don't know it or don't believe it.

One word - YES. Nexium is also called the purple pill of misery. High and low stomach acid both cause acid reflux but insufficient stomach acid is the most common cause.

For 25 years my mother was on acid blocking drugs (she was told she had high acid) and almost died from the side effects.  She is now free of GERD, LPR and is 95% improved with gastritis. She currently takes digestive enzyme supplements (to improve digestion) and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements (to help with low stomach acid). The proteases (enzymes that digest protein) help to heal gastritis.

I know other people on nexium and are sick in ways that I won't elaborate here.  I don't even know what it is for, but I don't take prescription drugs!  As far as I'm concerned, Nexium is just another drug that big pharma. made, and they had to invent some symptoms that it can cure.

I don't trust the current medical system, all they want is your money - they don't care if you are sick - actually they do, they want to keep selling you their drugs, so it there is something they can invent and make a drug to fix it, then they will!
