Difficulty swallowing and Fosamax

I have noticed for months now that I have been having difficulty swallowing at times, and notice it feels like I have a lump in my throat.  I didn't think of it until now but could this be caused from the fosamax and if so if I stop taking it will the symptoms go away?

thank you for your help.

Doesn't appear that you are a doctor.  It IS a symptom of Fosamax.  Please don't reply if you don't know what you are talking about.

While difficulty swallowing isn't listed as a side effect of Fosamax, it is possible. When you put foreign chemcals into the body its hard to predict how it will react, everybody's different. Don't stop taking it without your doctor or pharmacists direction, but do contact either of them and explain what is going on and why you think its connected. They can advise you from there.
