Worried... Please help!

I was recently scratched by my brother's dog, she is a hunting dog and we haven't had her long. I don't think she would have rabies, but she hasn't had her rabies shots yet, she's going to get them next week. She is very hyper, but in a playful way, not a harmful way. She was trying to play with me when she scratched me. We also keep her in a kennel, so no other dogs or anything like that should be able to get to her. I wasn't aware that you could get rabies from a scratch, until I read it on the internet, now I'm scared. She scratched me and there were two visible scratch marks. Neither scratch ever bleed. I washed them with soap and water and the scratches were gone by the end of the night. There is no trace of them now. Is there any chance that I could have rabies? I'm worried sick, because I know that it's a fatal disease.

I'm sure you would have been feeling ill by now, also don't believe everything on the internet. You can get it from saliva. Also, i'm sure you would have seen symptoms of rabies in the dog too.

I wouldn't be overly worried about it, Hometownboy.  It's usually contracted from bites, and the animal's saliva.  A scratch is mild, and you should be right as rain.
