Excruciating pain while swallowing food

I was informed by one medical person that I have gastric ulcer, then I started observing some conditions that was given to me. Then whenever I experience any form of discomfort, I will take antacid. At times, when I take alcohol or eat late at night and go to bed,  I will end up vomiting all that I had taken, and it comes out with blood.

What is happening to me presently is that when I try to eat, there will be excruciating pain in my chest area, it will be as if the food has lodged, it will be there and shifting down so slowly and painfully, that even when water is taken, it does change the situation, it keeps moving very slowly until it drops. Sometimes when it drops and I take water, it could bring relief, this is not always.

Again, at times, when I woke up, I still feel excruciating pain in the chest area when I stand to walk.
What can this be and is there any particular medication that can end this nightmare?

First, I would recommend you see a Gastroenterologist if you have not already and get an endoscopy done.  Another concern should be your weight; you are not at a proper weight for your height.

I was wondering what the excruciating pain could be, is it a situation of worsening case?
I mean when  I still take some antacid, meprasil, but this pain just came on.

Even when I am lying down, reading, I could still feel the pain movement in my throat down the chest area. I want to know if there is any type of medication other than the antacid that can take care of this situation.

I am five feet, seven inches, forty five years of age and weighing 95 pounds, am I overweight?
I am writing in appreciation of your response to my report of Excruciating pain while swallowing food.

Hello,

So, a physician diagnosed you with a gastric ulcer and you are not on daily medication?  That makes no sense.  You should be on some daily medication.  You are asking what can it be, I am kind of confused, didn't you say that you were diagnosed with a gastric ulcer?

Secondly, I would cut out the alcohol and eating late at night on your part.  Do you smoke?  Are you overweight?  Pay attention to the foods and activities that aggreviate it.  Those are life style changes you can do on your own.
