Experiencing series of symptoms on left side of face and head.

About 3 years ago, I started having a dull ache in my left temple right along my hairline. The pain was nearly constant, and the scalp would be tender to the touch in that area. The pain was never too severe, but I did consult both my primary care doctor and my dermatologist (at the time thinking it may have something to do with my skin). Neither could ever give me an answer as to what was causing it. All of my vitals and blood work were normal. Around six months ago, I started experiencing weird and extremely painful symptoms around my back and arms. I would have a pins and needles feeling. The pain was so intense in my hands, that if I tried to stick my hand in my pocket , it would feel as if I was being stung my hundreds of bees. My doctor thought that these symptoms could be due to a pinched nerve in my neck. I was prescribed muscle relaxers to take at night along with an ibuprofen pack, and within a week or so these symptoms disappeared. All except for my temple pain. This pain has never really gone away, making me think that it was unrelated to those other symptoms. In fact, over about the past 3 weeks, this pain in my temple has become more intense. I can feel the vein in my temple bulging out and pulsating. The pain has also spread at times to my left jaw on the same side (right where the jaw hinges). I went back to the doctor this past week, and they did more blood tests which all came back normal. They also referred me to a neurologist to get a CT scan and MRI. They have tried everything. Ibuprofen, exedrin migraine, muscle relaxers, aspirin, prescription migraine medication....nothing has relieved my symptoms. I tried wearing a mouth guard at night because they also mentioned I could be grinding my teeth. Didnt work. The doctor mentioned that it could be temporal arteritis. I am a 24 year old, otherwise healthy male. Would that make sense? Also, about two days ago, I noticed a lump underneath the skin about a half of an inch away from where I can feel my vein bulging out. This has sort of freaked me out. I tried setting up an appointment with the neurologist they referred me to, but I wouldn't be able to get in until march. I am going to call around tomorrow to other neurologist offices so I can get in as soon as possible. In the mean time, if anyone else has experienced these symptoms I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if any medical professional has seen this, I would GREATLY appreciate any advice. I've been through the gamut (CT and MRI aside). I would just really like to have an idea of what is going on.
