Is it normal to have a bowel movement at least
6 times a day?

No, unless you have been diagnosised with a bowel issue such as IBS.

No it is not normal to have 6 bowel movements a day. Do you have diarrhea, cramping,pain,  blood in the stool , fever or any other symptoms?
Yes this could be irritable bowel, parasitic or bacterial infection. Have you eaten out, or traveled outside the country?

No. This is characteristic or irritible bowel syndrome. Curiously, for hundreds of years a small amount of nicotine was used to cure this malady. Not much. Perhaps the equivelant of a cigarette a day. A bit of chewing tobaco was another traditional remedy. Often a bacterial infection is the problem, although parasites are also a possibility. In any event, if this persists longer than several weeks, rather than self-treat I suggest an evaluation by an M.D. specializing in intestinal problems.
