No. This is characteristic or irritible bowel syndrome. Curiously, for hundreds of years a small amount of nicotine was used to cure this malady. Not much. Perhaps the equivelant of a cigarette a day. A bit of chewing tobaco was another traditional remedy. Often a bacterial infection is the problem, although parasites are also a possibility. In any event, if this persists longer than several weeks, rather than self-treat I suggest an evaluation by an M.D. specializing in intestinal problems.
