After treatment of abdominal tuberculosis

I have just finished a 1-year treatment for peritoneal and intestinal tuberculosis. Prior to treatment, I had peritoneal effusion and 1 month after starting my treatment, a fluid-filled cyst with thick septations in my pelvic area appeared, and it persists despite completing my treatment. What could have caused it, and should I undergo surgery to remove it?

Hello, it might be wise to ask your GP, perhaps he/she will be able to lance it to allow the pus to flow out, or give you some meds to help any infection that may be in the area.
