Height

Hello, im a female and I'm worried about my height since everyone tells me that I'm too short for my age. Both of my parents are short so I know I will be short, but I'm shorter than my grandma! I'm only 4'9 and I weigh 103lbs. I started my period about two years ago and I don't think I grown since then. My mom is only 5'1 and my dad is 5'4. My brother turned out pretty tall considering our genetics. He is 5'6.

I am wondering how much I am going to grow as well as my final height. If it is not too much trouble I would like so,e advice on growing taller

Thank you for reading

Hello,
Some folks are shorter than others, it is not a thing to worry about. You said you have started your period, so, I doubt if you will be growing any taller. No problem though, there a lot of us "shorter" people out there. I am 5'2"

The word "short" is relative, since some people are taller than average, just as there are those who are shorter than average.  You don't mention your age, but one should be careful when certain people claim that you are "too short for your age".  As you know, heredity is involved here, but who knows how tall you will end up, if your body decides to grow even a little bit more.  Just try to maintain good overall health by avoiding all tobacco products; curtail sugary drinks and snacks; get a proper amount of sleep; exercise; and avoid illicit drugs, for examples.
