Have you been to see the doctor since you first wrote?
If not, and you are still having a problem with your lungs and breathing, you do need to see him again.  If your doctor mentioned something about your lungs, sounds like you have a lung infection.

Sometimes chest infections can clear up on their own, but as you are still having your problems and they are getting worse, you do need to make another appointment and get back to see him.

Best wishes.

Is there any likely chance of you being pregnant?

If not, you may have a viral or bacterial infection.  You need to make an appointment with the doctor to get your throat and chest examined for any infection.  The persistent cough may be due to the throat and lung infection or you may now have asthma.  The headaches could be due to raised body temperature or from sinus congestion.  If you do have a lot of congestion that can make give you tummy problems with feelings of nausea.

Make sure that you keeping drinking plenty of fluids, but keep of milk and dairy products until you are well again.

If the doctor feels this is a viral problem, then unfortunately all you can do is take pain relief as directed, keep warm, rest and be patient.

If it is bacterial infection, the doctor will prescribe antibiotics for you.

If you do have congestion, doing steam inhalations with Vick or Olbas oil in a bowl of hot water with your head and bowl covered with a towel and breath in the steam, this will help to decongest the sinuses and ease the headaches if these are caused by the congested sinuses.

Wishing you a speeding recovery.
