Medical Questions

Hi there, I need help in figuring out what is happening to me. I have recently had headaches, blurry vision and I can't really focus  at my work place. Also, I get thirsty most of the time and this is not common for me as I don't really drink a lot of water. For the past few days, I have been drinking about 500ml every hour. When walking, I tend to loss my coordination sometimes and even though I am not wearing heels, I can still trip or fall on flat ground. I also have back and joint pain. I tend to get the pain on the left side of my body. I was diagnosed with rheumatic fever when I was 10 and continued taking penicillin until I was 14. I did a blood test when I was 18 and the doctor told me that I was free of it. I am 23 now and I am an avid diver. I don't have any problems underwater but it has been about a month since the last time I went diving. I eat regularly but my colleague says that I look very sick and thin. Please advise.

Hello~I highly suggest you see your physician, it sounds like diabetes tome, you should have a 3 or 6 hour glucose tolerance run plus an A1c, these will be very good indicators of what is going on with your sugar levels. Please do this as soon as possible, your symptoms don't sound good, they need to be addressed.

I have a soreness around the anial area that is painful when cleaning myself.  This has persisted for 6 months or more.  I use some "triple antibact. Cream" which helps some, but continues to be present or recurring.  It seems to be more  prevalent after I have used a "Laxative".  There is no itch associated with the condition.

You may want to have that evaluated.  Why are you using laxatives if I may ask?  Try other methods for regular bowel movements.  You can also, believe it or not, have a muscle spasm there.  But obviously the ointment wouldn't help with that.  I honestly would consult with your doctor.  good luck

Rheumatic Fever can cause scarring on the brain, heart, kidneys and other organs but even if that werent the case you need to see a physician asap as these symptoms sounds very serious to me. Even if its diabetes insipidus you need to be treated by a physician
