How can I help my husband with cerebral ataxia?

He has recently been diagnosed at the age of 76.  He has been told it is caused by long term alcohol misuse.

Hello~I am so sorry that your husband has been diagnosed with this. Just take it a day at a time, be patient with him, and enjoy every moment together. Hugs to you both.

Hi peaofsweetness.  I am very sorry to read of your husband's diagnosis.  And that it came because of alcohol abuse, I know you've had a long road already to get to this point.  Hugs to you.  When was he diagnosed?  How is it impacting life now or him?  There, unfortunately, is no cure but hopefully he has stopped drinking?
