Fainting??

Last night I was standin in the kitchen having a cup of tea and chatting to a friend when all of a sudden I felt really tired and incredibly nauseas, my ears started ringing like i was going deaf. The room got narrow and darker and i felt like i was getting really dizziness accompanied by a sharp stabbing headache...all i could get out was 'Im really feeling sick' and i needed to lay down immediately because i felt like i was either going to puke or pass out. Im really worried Im still not feeling like myself and im really tired today. What could be the problem?

Nausea is a serious symptom. It is impossible to know what it "is" without an evaluation.

Yes, it could be "feminine problems", but you really don't know.

I'm in the United States and am a firm believer in the Emergency Room of a teaching hospital.  These people are really good. Not a visit to the "local practicioner".  I any hospital I worked in you would have a CT scan (at least) immediately and the next slot for an MRA and MRI (probably within 12 hours).

It is simply foolish not to do so.

Basically, you should have gone to an emergency room. NOT your family physician,

There are many possibilities, and an aneurysm is one of them. It may be nothing and it may be life-threatening. You owe it to your family to find out.

Fortunately modern medicine has available the CT, the MRI and the MRA.

You need an evaluation as of five minutes ago. Not an appointment when "he can fit you in".

Get into to see your Dr. It could be that your blood pressure shot up or maybe your blood sugar got too high or low. If your still not feeling well today you could go to a med center. Do you have any of those close to you? The headache is what has me concerned. I'm not trying to scare you but it possibly could have been a stroke. The med center can check for all the things I mentioned. Please let us know what you find out.  Remar
