I got punched in the lip and want to know the details of my injury

So I was in a fight and I got punched in the mouth and busted my lip and it was bleeding but it stoped after a couple hours. Then by the time I got home it was a yellow/white bump/swelling on my lip and it looks similar to a canker sore or a cold sore but I'm not sure of it also it doesn't hurt to lick it or lightly touch it but it has a scab starting to form (my hypothesis is that once I got hit in the mouth my lip was stabbed or cut by my tooth because I have other very small/minor canker sores or cuts or whatever that align with some of my other teeth ) pls respond ASAP  and thanks for helping

I can assure you this is normal. I had the same sort of scab (from a clumsy mishap and bit in to my lip) dr checked it out and it's all part of the natural healing process . Nothing to be alarmed about.
However do not pick or peel it off. To speed up healing you can take a shot glass full of warm salt water (sea salt or Himalayan) and swoosh it around. Definitely will sting but I found it actually helped with the pain and healing after.

Good luck :)
