Liver

Healthy EMT/Fireman 22 year old non drinker & non smoker male had a routine physical w/ lab work. All lab good except liver enzymes elevated.  Lab repeated 1 month later enzymes same as month before, hepaptitis and other liver disease ruled out.. Ultrasound done, and that was fine.  Was told over phone to follow up with a GI Dr.  Why would I need to do that?

I ditto the recommendation to go see a hepatologist.  There are some diseases that "silently" affect the liver, including less commonly know tick borne diseases like HME (erlichiosis) and Bartonella (b.henselae).

Are you overweight, drink alcohol, Certain prescription and over-the-counter medications can be the cause,
Try milk thistle, Also try liver detoxification
It's important to speak with a doctor first about treatment for elevated liver enzymes I suggest seeing a hepatologist doctor
