Lump on right lower abdomen

I had a c-section 13 months ago with a drainage tube placed shortly after the surgery. My incision points healed relatively quickly with no real problems. About 6 weeks or so after the surgery I noticed a large lump on my right lower abdominal area. I had an ultrasound last Aug that turned up nothing abnormal, and just had an ultrasound done last friday that also turned up nothing abnormal; however, this lump is still there and I am now wondering if it could be a collection of scar tissue formed from where the drain tube was? If anyone has any comments, suggestions, or answers please help!

Thanks a bunch!

That's what I have been thinking it is but doctors are unable to tell me exactly what it is. If I lay on my right side too long it starts to throb a bit but then once I'm up and moving around it's fine. Can scar tissue feel that way? Thanks so much for your comment by the way, you've told me more than what these doctors have been able to.

That's what it sounds like, scar tissue. If it's really bothering you then you might want to ask your Dr about the possibility of having it removed. Take care. Remar
