It could take several weeks to totally disappear. Unlike opiates, meth and cocaine are not readily absorbed into the tissues. You will have to monitor for signs of abcess as this could lead to a serious infection in your blood. Go to the ER immediately if you have fever, chills, redness and increased swelling at the site. You can apply warm compresses to help speed the healing. Well wishes to you!
