Muscle cramps

I'm am a very fit 20 year old male. I work out a lot I do I lot of running and I eat fairly healthy. However I play football/ soccer (I'm from England) and a game of football is 90 minutes long and I can never last the full 90 minutes because I get server muscle cramps around 70 minutes. I've had blood test and all is healthy. I get very frustrated because people I play with, drink, smoke and do drugs and don't get anything like I do. I have had it since I was 15. I have tried eating certain things, I've tried tablets, I've tried stretching I'm basically tried everything I could possibly find on google. Could there be any other reason why I am experiencing these cramps? The cramps are so serve when they occur and can make me feel as if I'm going to be sick.

Cramps can be due to dehydration. Try to drink plenty of water than normally since you are very active in sport, that mean you sweat a lot and tend to be more dehydrated and required more fluid intake than regular people does. Regular people should drink 8 glasses of 8 ounce of water. You probably need 10 glasses or more, it depend on how active you are or how much sport you will be participate on that day.

Thank you for your response. I have tried drinking lots and lots of water and I usually drink a lot in any case. I've tried sports drinks I seem to have tried everything. My doctor told me 'it's just one of those things' which isn't much help at all. I have heard posture or running technique could be a cause? Would it be worth seeing a sports therapist?
