Need Help for my 13-year old son

My 13 year old son is diagnosed with gynaecomastia on right side and ultrasound shows cyst measuring 3.4MM X 3.2MM in head of right epididymis and another in head of left epididymis measuring 5.1MM X 2.9MM. Further in Serum FSH 0.93 mIU/ml and serum LH 0.01 mIU/ml.

What this is indicating and how severe and is there any treatment available.

Have you also discussed this with his pediatrician and is he/she in agreement with this?  If so, then I would follow their directions.  If not, perhaps seek a 2nd opinion on the Endo.  Keep me posted.

Yes he ordered Ultrasound and the result was as I wrote in my earlier e-mail my son has no health issues yes he is over weight and growing 66 and move to 67 in one week. No symptoms like atypical gender or feel male gender. The issue arose when he complaint about left side chest pain and I visited emergency and doctor said it's normal it happened with overweight kids when they start reaching puberty however visit endocrinologist so I took mt son to endocrinologist and he ordered 3 ultra sounds and 9 laboratory tests including hormones and the results as I stated earlier. Then I took him to pediatric endocrinologist and he said wait until six months to an year visit me again your son is a late bloomer. However his male organ is smaller than his age. Here is the whole story. I'll check the links you provided. Please comment anything you think we should do

thanks again for taking time for me

No problem...I just got here myself.  Did your son have any diagnostic imaging to confirm this is a cyst?  Did the Endo. MD order any labs on him?  I did some research with mixed findings.  I don't know your son's medical history, his weight, etc.  I can be normal to have a benign cyst and be fine...to give him more time and re-evaluate:  http://www.pediatricsurgerymd.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=List_Of_Conditions1&template=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=4261 .

Other sources you can check online say to investigate further.  What has your Pediatrician said about this?

Is your son complaining of pain to this area?  Is he overweight?  Is he taking any medication?  Is he a "late bloomer" in your opinion?

Thanks for the reply and I apologize for the delayed response since I was busy for his appointments and stuff. I the process we visited an pediatric endocrinologist and he said that no need for any medison and see me after 6 months however I am not getting satisfied with this opinion. He said that my son is a late bloomer. But what about cysts.

What type of MD ordered these tests?  If he is not seeing an Endocrinologist, he needs to see one, but his Pediatrician also needs to be aware of what is going on.  He may need surgery to remove the cysts, but why did he get them to begin with is the question.
