Thank you Lisa, and yes, the info was quite helpful.
Cheers :)
I don't know what threading eyebrows and lips is? Is that applying makeup or? It sounds like an allergy.
Hello Meow018,
You shouldn't touch your face with any product besides afterwax creams as they are specially formulated to reduce the inflammation. Waxing and threading are very traumatic to the skin, so the pores are still open right after you have done it and anything you put on will be much too harsh for your skin.
You shouldn't be washing your face with soap to start with though. Soap strips the skins protective barrier called your acid mantle, allowing all the bacteria, pollution and dirt to go directly into the pores. This is probably causing a lot of your acne. Face washes are much milder, and aren't there to make money, they are actually necessary. Try find one that is free of Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate. This is a harsh drying ingredient used to make the face wash foam. It is also found in washing powder and dish washing liquid, so try stay away from it, as this will dry out your skin, and therefore make your skin produce more oil to counteract the dryness, also afftecting your acne. Always treat oil with oil - it is the best solution to the problem.
I hope this info helps a bit.
You might want to try an after waxing antibacterial formula? I'm not sure I would use soap though, it is pretty drying on your skin.
