Pulse in stomach normal or sign of something serious

Lately my anxiety has been acting up so i have been looking up my symptoms alot so one of my problems is when my heart starts to pound i can also feel the same sensation in my stomach and ive been reading that it could be a sign of a anyerism or how ever you spell that im 23 years old perfect blood pressure and a clean bill of health as i know of when my heart rate calms down i can no longer feel it in my stomach i was wondering if this is normal or should i go get a ultrasound i had a ct scan of my abdomin 3 weeks ago for kidney stones would that have shown in the test???

I have felt my heart beat in my stomach also, you see, when we are in high anxiety, we are very aware of every beat, and of course, the heart does beat stronger and faster when we are that way. The aorta extends to the tummy, so, naturally you would feel it there, especially when it is beating extra hard.

Yes, the CT scan would show an abdominal aortic aneurysm, if one did not show up, I would not worry.

I often felt mine, especially if I put pressure just to the left of my belly button anywhere from my rib cage down to my pelvis.  I too had the aortic aneurysm fear because aneurysms are inherited in my fam. It's just that there is a main artery that runs there.

me too its normal i guess my stomach even moves up and down with my heartbeat sorry i know its frightening but its good to know im not the only one
