Recently using the bathroom has become painfull

Not sure how to describe, it feels like im pooping out a clump of rocks, it is thicker and i strain to (get it out). Recently along with this ive had sharp pains in my sides a couple of times and my lower stomach hurts at times as well. Im not sure as to which organs it is that is hurting but it is in the lower pelvic area. Is this something i need to worry about? i also started my period recently and it only lasted about two days when normally it lasts at least five, is there a connection?

You are welcome. You may also want to try yogurt, it helps to keep the friendly bacteria level in your body. I eat one cup a day. Just make sure it has live cultures in it. Best wishes.

If sounds as if you are constipated pretty bad. Try taking a gentle stool softener with senna. That should get things moving and help with the pain.Take the stool softener for a couple of days and if things do not improve have it checked. You can be at risk for impacted bowels. I assume the pain in you lower abdomen is gas and stool that is having problems moving on down. Hope things improve soon. Best wishes.

I have problems staying regular myself. I would suggest that you increase your fiber intake. Try eating some natural ceral like raisin brans,or that liquid fiber powder drink, and  increase your water intake as well. Once my cycle ended quickly and I thought i was pregnant but it turned out i had an ovarian cycst.  Not saying that you have the same, but the Best option would be to just go see  your doctor. good luck.
