Red spots on roof of mouth?

So around Thursday 10.19, I noticed the corner of my lip got dry, itchy, and cracked.. Did some research and realized it was likely Angular Cheilitis, it’s recurring and described it to a T so that made sense.

Well about 2 days in, the roof of my mouth felt kind of weird, like a pasty feeling maybe? I looked at it and there was a bunch of reddish/purpleish dots on my hard palate. Not a whole lot, but a few on the sides closer to my teeth. The spots aren’t bumpy and they’re not painful either. Also, a big red/pink spot in the middle of my hard palate that I thought probably just occurred from me irritating it. Went to Urgent Care and she agreed with the Angular Cheilitis part, and ruled the spots out as possible Petechiae but I never fully trust what they say because they always usually say “but, go to your primary care physician to besure.” I don’t want to spend more $ if it really is Petechiae, but I feel as though it’s more to it.

Side Note: I do not have a history with Herpes. I was tested a little over a year ago, came back clean and I have not had a new sexual partner since.
