What is a heat convulsion

My friends daughter has been diagnosed as having a heat convulsion and just wanted some information on what this is

If you are talking about febrile convulsion, then its a convulsion/seizure caused by sudden rise in the temperature of the body secondary to some viral or bacterial infection. It is common in children below the age of 5 and usually goes away and donot cause any adverse effects. The temperature itself is not significant but the time in which the temperature of the body is raised is important as the faster the temperature rises, the likelyhood of having a convulsion
